Migralepsy - Finding Out the Basics

Migralepsy is a seizure that is triggered by a migraine with aura. For example, a person may suffer from a migraine, and once it is gone, he or she may have a seizure within a few hours. Symptoms include:

• Seeing flashes of light
• Unconsciousness
• Visual disturbances
• Severe head pain
• Hallucinations
• Nausea and vomiting
• Seizures

It may be hard to differentiate whether a migraine is causing the seizure or the seizure is the reason for a migraine. The truth is that neither is really the correct answer.
